Golfers who dream of following in the footsteps of their golfing heroes will want to add Los Arqueros to their must-play list of courses. Well, if they are one of the millions of Severiano Ballesteros fans, that is, because this was the first course designed by the Spanish maestro on the Costa del Sol – and his second in Spain (after Novo Sancti Petri on Cádiz’s Costa de la Luz).

Set on scenic mountain slopes high above Marbella (but in Benahavís municipality) on the road to Ronda, and opened in 1991, Los Arqueros was created to follow the contours of the land and blend in harmoniously with the natural surroundings – and to reflect a little of Seve’s lustrous golfing philosophy on each hole.

In addition to an iconic golfing experience, golfers can also enjoy a range of other excellent facilities including tennis and pádel courts, a gym, a bowling alley – and Seve’s Kitchen & Bar.
