Strand Properties, the largest Finnish real estate agency operating in Spain, has acquired Palm Homes, a well-established rental agency on the Costa del Sol. With this strategic acquisition, the company is set to expand its operations into short-term rentals by leveraging the platform and technology of another fast-growing Finnish success story – Hostaway.
Strand Properties has seen strong growth in the European real estate market, currently serving both buyers and sellers with a team of 150 professionals across 10 locations in Finland and Spain.
In addition to property sales and long-term rentals, the company is now entering the short-term rental market, starting with the Costa del Sol and later expanding across other parts of Europe. This move follows the acquisition of Palm Homes, which has operated successfully in the region for several years.

The newly launched Strand Properties Rentals division will be led by seasoned rental professional Anu Maria Korpi, who has been successfully running her own rental agency on the Costa del Sol for many years.
“Anu has deep local expertise and extensive experience in both short- and long-term rentals. She’s well known for her exceptional customer service and her ability to find the right solution for both tenants and property owners,” Kiviranta adds.
